Guy-Perkins High School will again provide summer school for students in grades 7-12. The dates for summer school will be June 6-30th. Grades 7-8 will receive remediation this subjects that were failed. Grades 9-12 will receive credit recovery for those classes failed. Letters will be sent out next week to parents of students who will need to attend. Lunch/snack will be provided each day of summer school.
Guy-Perkins is accepting sealed bids on a Garland SunFire 60-inch stove w/10 natural gas burners and two (2) standard ovens. This range can be seen by appointment between 8 a.m.-1:00 p.m. by calling Denee' at 679-7224. Bid opening has been extended due to lack of bids and will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 23 in the Administration Office.
Tomorrow, May 20th is Fabulous Fun Day Friday! Please make sure your student brings an extra set of clothes, a towel, and a water bottle to school tomorrow. There will be water activities (no swimsuits). Students will also need a pair of socks for the bounce houses. Sunscreen is strongly encouraged.
Guy-Perkins Elementary will be having summer school enrichment June 6-30, 2022. Letters were sent home with students this week. Please check your student's backpack for the letter and return it to the office. Great things are happing here! Go T-Birds!

Wow! What a fantastic season our Thunderbird Softball and Baseball Teams gave us this year! The boys made it to the first-round and the girls to the FINAL FOUR of the 1A State Tournament. Please join us in showing our appreciation to both teams and to our volunteer coaches on these great accomplishments: James Rooney and Stan Stewart (softball) and Nick Passmore and Tony Varnell (baseball). The Thunderbird softball team has advanced to the semi-finals of the 1A State Tournament today by shutting out Armorel 3-0. They will play the winner of Taylor and Mammoth Spring tomorrow at 2:30 PM at the Arkadelphia Sports Complex. Go T-birds!

Elementary Reminders: Pre-K graduation ceremony is Thursday, May 12th in the cafeteria @ 5:30 p.m. Kindergarten Graduation is Tuesday, May 17th in the cafeteria @ 6:30 p.m. Our last Fabulous Fun Day Friday is May 20th. Sixth grade graduation is May 23rd @ 6:30 p.m. May 24th we will have a movie and snack day. May 25th is the last day of school! The weather is getting hotter! Please make sure to send a refillable water bottle with your student everyday so that they can stay hydrated!
