
The Thunderbird softball and baseball teams are headed to the 1A State Tournament later this week! The girls will play Thursday at 10 a.m. against Mt. Ida (Arkadelphia Sports Complex) and the boys will play Thursday at 3 p.m. against Ouachita (Ouachita HS Field). For the complete tournament schedules and ticket information, go to:

Guy-Perkins Elementary School is accepting applications for an Elementary Teacher for the 2022-23 school year. The Thunderbird baseball team lost in extra innings to Sacred Heart 6-5 to finish fourth in the 1A Region 3 tournament. They will play again later in the week at the 1A State Tournament.

Congratulations to the Thunderbird softball team for winning the 1A Regional 3 championship over Wonderview 6-0. They will be the one seed from Region 3 headed into the state tournament later this week. Go T birds!


There has been a time change for the baseball team on Monday. They will now play at 2:30 PM against Sacred Heart. The girls will play at 2:30, as well, against Wonderview. Both games will be played at Nemo Vista. Go T birds!

The Guy-Perkins baseball team lost 10-1 to MVE at the 1A Region 3 semis and will play Sacred Heart at Noon on Monday in the consolation game at Nemo Vista.

The Thunderbird softball team defeats Mt. Vernon-Enola 7-6 and will play in the 1A Region 3 finals against the winner of Wonderview/Sacred Heart at 2:30 on Monday at Nemo Vista.

The start times for today's (Friday) 1A-Region 3 games have been moved. The softball game vs. Brinkley will start at 2:30 p.m. and the baseball game vs. Clarendon will begin at 4 p.m. Both games will be played at Nemo Vista.

The girls will play Brinkley at 12:30 p.m. and the boys will play Clarendon at 3:00 p.m. Only AAA passes will be honored. Guy-Perkins Cafeteria has added a new "cooling" table for students to grab fresh fruits and vegetables as they come through the meal line. Thanks to Damon Cardin for installing the table and Nathan Bowie for making a "sneeze" guard for it. We could not have done it without you!
