Congratulations to Guy-Perkins freshman, Garrett Fisher, for earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team at the Arkansas Governor's Quiz Bowl Association Junior High Camp on Saturday in Russellville. Garrett placed in the top 10 finishers and was awarded a $25 gift card.

The Arkansas State Board of Education has granted the Guy-Perkins School District a waiver for student enrollment being under 350. Guy-Perkins has grown to 308 students and continues to meet the academic, facility, and financial requirements needed to receive a waiver. #GreatThingsHappeningHere!

Today is the Annual Guy-Perkins Thanksgiving meal and those planning to attend will need to check in at the Elementary School Office prior to going to the Cafeteria. Meal tickets are $5. This year, all guests will go through the left line in the Cafeteria and all Guy-Perkins students will go through the right line. Come and join us!
The Guy-Perkins Annual "Report to the Public" will be held tonight (11/17) at 5:30 p.m. in the Administration Building. Reports from several district departments/programs will be given. The regular November Board Meeting will immediately follow. All are invited to attend.
The Guy-Perkins Jr. Boys and Jr. Girls will compete Monday, November 14 in the Quitman Invitational Tournament. The girls will play Melbourne at 4:30 p.m. and the boys will play Mayflower at 5:30 p.m. Admission is $5 adults/children. AAA passes accepted.
Veterans living in the Guy area, or related to any student/staff member, are invited to join us on Friday, November 11 at Noon for a luncheon followed by our Veterans Day assembly. All attending must check in and out at the Elementary School office. We look forward to seeing you!
The Guy-Perkins Thunderbirds host E-stem Charter School tonight for JVB, SG, and SB games beginning at 5:30 p.m. $5/adults and $4/children. Booster Club concessions will be available featuring the pulled-pork sandwiches. Come out tonight and support our Thunderbird athletes!
