Earlier this month, Guy-Perkins High School 8th-grade students attended a Career Exploration Camp organized by our High School Career Coach, Melissa Ritter. Students attended sessions in healthcare, virtual reality, construction, heavy equipment, and electrical. Special thanks to Nurse Sarah Toller, Petit Jean Electric, the Heavy Equipment Operating Academy, Arch Ford Cooperative, and Eric Moix Construction.
The Guy-Perkins baseball team wins 14-2 over Sacred Heart. We will be the 3 seed in our district tournament and we secured an auto bid to regional. Congratulations to our Thunderbirds!

The Guy-Perkins Sr. Quiz Bowl Team is headed to the 1A State Tournament at UACCM in Morrilton tomorrow. This year marks the fifth year in a row that the Thunderbirds have qualified to play in the 1A State Quiz Bowl Tournament. Good luck to Coach Cummings and the Quiz Bowl Team!
The Baseball game against Greers Ferry scheduled for tonight has been moved from 4pm to 4:30pm.
If you have a student that will be 5 years old on or before August 1, 2024 please come by and pre-register for kindergarten. You can stop by anytime Tuesday-Friday 7:15 a.m.-4:30 p.m. to pick up a packet. We can also send packets home with older siblings. The tornado shelter at Guy-Perkins Elementary School will be opened to the public, if tornado warnings are issued for the area.
