If you have a student that will be 5 years old on or before August 1, 2024 please come by and pre-register for kindergarten. You can stop by anytime Tuesday-Friday 7:15 a.m.-4:30 p.m. to pick up a packet. We can also send packets home with older siblings. The National Weather Service has predicted that severe weather may impact the Guy, AR area over the next 12 hours. The tornado shelter at Guy-Perkins Elementary School will be opened to the public, if tornado warnings are issued for the area. Thanks to Julie Hicks and Shannon Bradford for serving as the weather monitors tonight and for agreeing to open/close the shelter, if needed.

The Guy-Perkins High School Ag Department recently participated in the ASU-Beebe "Ag Day" events with 11 student in attendance. Madison Mode, Makailee Mahrous, Hogan Hicks competed in the Career Development Event (CDE) competitions. According to Ag teacher, Nathan Bowie, this was a "very productive warm up for the District CDEs at Arkansas Tech on Thursday, March 14.

Guy-Perkins Elementary will be hosting Kindergarten Round-up for incoming 2024-2025 kindergarten students on Thursday, March 14th during Parent-Teacher Conferences (4:30-7:30 p.m.) Please come by and pre-register your student for next school year. The Guy-Perkins Sr. Quiz Bowl team took Third Place at the 1A Central Regional Tournament today! They now advance for the fifth consecutive time to the State 1A Tournament on April 13th at UACCM. Great work Coach Kevin Cummings and all the T-birds scholars!
Just a reminder that Monday, March 4, 2024 will be Weather Make-up Day #2 for the Guy-Perkins School District. This is to ensure that students have teaching/learning time prior to the ATLAS testing later in the spring. All classes, including ALE classes, will be held this Monday.
