Statement from Guy-Perkins' Food Service Provider: OPAA Food Management is committed to serving quality, nutritious meals to students and staff. Like many other school districts across the nation, we too are experiencing supply chain issues and lack of delivery drivers. This may result in a reduced number of entrée choices available for breakfast and lunch until the supply chain issues are improved.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time while our Registered Dieticians and Culinary Team develop menu substitutions, as needed. Rest assured a free breakfast and lunch will be available to all students. We encourage you to visit Nutrislice on a daily basis for the most up-to-date menus. Download the Nutrislice app, or visit lookup.nutrislice.com to view daily menus.

The district needs your help in updating our free/reduced lunch percentage numbers so that we can apply for additional federal funding to help support our "at-risk" student programs. We ask that ALL families go to the link provided or pick up a paper form from your child's office and complete this form for each child, whether you think you qualify or not. We need 100% participation. Thank you for your support!

The Guy-Perkins School Board adopted an Emergency Communicable Diseases Control Plan tonight (Tuesday) requiring that all students, staff, and visitors to the district wear masks (face coverings). A copy of this plan can be accessed at https://tinyurl.com/fyyubsdn. This plan was created in response to district and community stakeholder feedback; current COVID-19 infection data; and the need to protect our student population, especially those under the age of 12 who are unable to receive a COVID-19 vaccination.

From our partner, Faulkner County Sheriff's Office.
