Congratulations to Mr. Cummings and the Guy-Perkins HS Quiz Bowl Team for placing 2nd in the 1A Central Region Quiz Bowl Tournament. Team members include Noah Wright, Colin Fisher, Anaya Strickland, and Alyvia Hayes. Colin Fisher was named the tournament MVP. The team qualifies to compete in the 1A State Quiz Bowl Tournament on April 9 at UACCM in Morrilton.

Thunderbird baseball/softball action continues today (Monday) at home vs. Mt. Vernon-Enola War Hawks. Softball begins at 4 p.m. and Baseball at 4:30 p.m. Admission is $4-adults and $3-students. Both teams are coming off of a sweep of Sacred Heart on Thursday night. The Thunderbird Softball team will play an additional home game tomorrow (Tuesday) vs. Concord. Game time is 4 p.m.

This is a link to the permission slip form for students in grades 7-12 that would like to ride the Pep Bus to the Guy-Perkins vs. County Line basketball game in Morrilton on Monday, March 7. STUDENTS MUST BE IN GOOD BEHAVIOR STANDING. ALL GOOGLE FORMS FOR THE PEP BUS MUST BE FILLED OUT PRIOR TO 10:00 A.M. ON MONDAY. The bus will leave at 1:00 p.m. from the High School Gym. The entire school district will be dismissed at 1:15 p.m. Game time is 2:30 p.m. The bus will return between 4:30-5:00 p.m. Only the first 65 students registered by this Google Form will be allowed to ride the Pep Bus. Space is limited. All students riding the Pep Bus will have their tickets purchased for them. Students will need money for the concessions.
