Congratulations to the Guy-Perkins Jr. Quiz Bowl Team for finishing 4th in the AGQBA 1A State Quiz Bowl Tournament on Saturday. This is the fifth consecutive year that the Jr. Quiz Bowl Team has placed among the top four teams in 1A state competition. Garrett Fisher, Guy-Perkins Team Captain, was named to the 1A State All-Tournament Team for his performance on Saturday. The Guy-Perkins Lady Thunderbirds have defeated Augusta in the first round of the 1A-3 Region Tournament at Nemo Vista 54-44 and have earned a spot in the 1A State Tournament next week.They will play again on Friday at 4 PM against the winner of the Midland/Nemo Vista game.
