
Congratulations to Coach Kevin Cummings and the Guy-Perkins Sr. Quiz Bowl team for finishing in fourth place at the Little Rock Central High School "Tiger Invitational" on Saturday. Team members include Garrett Fisher, Noah Wright, and Conner Gordon. We are T-bird proud!


Due to scheduled parking lot maintenance, the Guy-Perkins gym parking lot will be closed on Saturday, October 21 and Sunday, October 22. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.


The Guy-Perkins School Board annual elections will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2024. This is earlier in the spring due to the general election. Candidates may begin picking up packets at the Faulkner County Clerk's Office at anytime to begin collecting signatures. Filing begins November 7, 2023 at Noon and will end November 14, 2023 at Noon. Positions that will be open in 2024 include Zone 1 (5-year term) and Zone 4 (the remaining 4 years of the term currently held by appointee, Heath Williams). The Guy-Perkins Junior Thunderbird football team completed its first season tonight at Brinkley. Our team has worked hard to improve and will be a force to contend with in 2024. A special appreciation goes to our coaches, Bobby Eubanks, Vino Morris, and Jack Smoot, as well as bus driver Keane Guiden. We are Thunderbird proud!


This is "Bus Safety Week" and Guy-Perkins staff and students would like to express their appreciation to all route and trip bus drivers (not pictured is Coach Alexander). These men and women are responsible for ensuring that Guy-Perkins students are transported to/from school and events/trips safely. Thank you bus drivers for your dedication!

The Guy-Perkins Annual Flu Shot Clinic will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023 from 1:30-3:30 PM in the Cafeteria. Parent information went home with students a few days ago. If your child is receiving their flu shot, return the permission form on the day of the clinic.

The Guy-Perkins Annual "Report to the Public" and Bi-annual Facilities meetings will be held Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 6:00 PM in the Cafeteria. Department reports will provided by staff members followed by an opportunity for Q and A. All patrons are invited to attend.


The Guy-Perkins Thunderbird Volleyball team advances to the 6:30 PM game tonight against Yellville-Summit after defeating Alpena 3-0 in the first round of the district tournament. Come out to Quitman HS tonight at 6:30 PM and support our team!

Guy-Perkins PTO is asking for candy donations from anyone who is able to give. The donations will be used at the Annual Trunk or Treat Event at the Guy City Park on October 21, 2023 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. You may send donations to the Elementary Office for PTO to pick up.
