
The 4-H is having a meeting at the Guy-Perkins cafeteria on Monday, October 14th at 6:30 p.m. They will have a special guest from the Morgan Nick Foundation to give a presentation. All community members are invited to attend this special program.

The Guy-Perkins Thunderbirds will face the South Side Hornets tonight in their first 8-man North Conference football game of the season. Game time is 7:00 PM and will be played at the Hendrix College football field. Admission is $5.00 per person (Guy-Perkins students are free). AAA passes only.
Help support the Guy-Perkins Alumni Association by entering the First Annual "Rock-Paper-Scissors" Tournament to be held at halftime. Entry fee is a $5 donation.


The deadline for required immunizations was October 1st. Immunization records or an exempt from vaccines form must be submitted immediately to the school nurse. If you are unsure of your child's vaccination status, please contact Mary at 501-402-4377. Parents of 11th grade students also need to be aware that they are due for the meningococcal vaccine. Thanks so much for helping ensure that all of our students are safe and protected.

Guy-Perkins will host our annual flu shot clinic on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. Flu shot forms are going home with elementary students this week. High school students can obtain forms from the HS office. Parents are welcome to come by HS or Elementary Offices to pick up forms. Only students with signed permission forms will be given flu shots. Slam Fest, our very first junior high volleyball tournament, will be this Saturday. Schedule will be released tomorrow. We are also a partner for humanitarian relief for areas affected by Hurricane Helene.


Reminder that tonight's match against Arkansas School for the Deaf has been cancelled.

The Tiny T-Bird 1 K Trot is tonight at Sparks in the Park! Registration is at 6-6:30 p.m. Race begins at 7:00 p.m.! Come on out for some fun!! The 5K color run is tomorrow morning (9/28/24). Registration will begin at 7 a.m. in the Thunderbird Parking lot. Race begins at 8:00 a.m.

Varsity and JV roll tonight against Nemo Vista. Varsity improves to 8-6 on the season, and 4-1 in conference. Next match is Thursday, Oct 3 at Quitman.

Thursday, September 26, 2024 Guy-Perkins will be taking yearbook pictures. Elementary will take pictures in the cafeteria beginning at 8:00 a.m. High School students will take pictures in the gym lobby beginning at 8:00 a.m.

The return of "See you at the Pole" at Guy-Perkins High School. Thank you Coach Carson and FCA for leading this event. Thank you students, teachers, and community members for coming and praying for our school.


There is still time to sign up for the 1st annual T-Bird Trot Color Run! Kids pre-k through age 12 will participate in a 1 K at Sparks in the Park Friday, September 27th. beginning at 6:30 p.m. Ages 13-Adult will participate in a 5 K on Saturday, September 28th. 5 K race will start at Guy-Perkins School and end in the park. The race will begin at 8:00 a.m. You can register by phone, forms in the office, or on race day.
