The AR Food Bank has provided 1/2 gallons of milk and boxes of fresh produce for distribution to area families. These items may be picked up on Tuesday, July 21 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the loading dock in back of the Guy-Perkins School District Cafeteria, while supplies last.

Governor Asa Hutchinson's Office has moved the start of the school year back to the week of August 24-28. The Guy-Perkins School Board will meet on July 21 to revise the school calendar for this year. We will announce the new calendar as soon as it has been revised. - Dr. Fisher

Congratulations to Maya Davidson for being selected to receive a $250 scholarship from the AR Blood Institute. Our district earned the opportunity to award this scholarship to one of our students through blood drives during the 2019-20 school year. Thanks to all who helped out!

Guy-Perkins Superintendent, Dr. Joe Fisher, was recently elected to serve a three-year term on the AR Governor's Quiz Bowl Association Board of Directors. Dr. Fisher coaches the Guy-Perkins Junior Quiz Bowl Team, which were this year's co-champions of the state 1A classification.
