Registration will be from 1:30-4:30 p.m. Children must be (5) years old on or before August 1, 2022 in order to register for the upcoming school year. The Guy-Perkins School Board met last night and approved a modified version of the 2022-23 school calendar. The new calendar allows for an earlier school start (August 15) and a longer Christmas break (17 days). To review the new calendar, go to: https://5il.co/170l6

Congratulations to Mr. Cummings and the Guy-Perkins HS Quiz Bowl Team for placing 2nd in the 1A Central Region Quiz Bowl Tournament. Team members include Noah Wright, Colin Fisher, Anaya Strickland, and Alyvia Hayes. Colin Fisher was named the tournament MVP. The team qualifies to compete in the 1A State Quiz Bowl Tournament on April 9 at UACCM in Morrilton.

Thunderbird baseball/softball action continues today (Monday) at home vs. Mt. Vernon-Enola War Hawks. Softball begins at 4 p.m. and Baseball at 4:30 p.m. Admission is $4-adults and $3-students. Both teams are coming off of a sweep of Sacred Heart on Thursday night. The Thunderbird Softball team will play an additional home game tomorrow (Tuesday) vs. Concord. Game time is 4 p.m.

The Guy-Perkins Senior Boys basketball team will play in the quarterfinals of the 1A State Tournament today (Monday) at 2:30 p.m. as they face County Line. The game will be played in the Morrilton High School arena. ALL tickets for AAA state basketball games will be sold ONLINE ONLY! No paper tickets will be sold at the gate. Spectators must present a digital ticket at the gate. Printed tickets will NOT be accepted. AAA Passes will be accepted until the gym capacity has been reached. AAA Passes do NOT guarantee access.
