Wow! What a fantastic season our Thunderbird Softball and Baseball Teams gave us this year! The boys made it to the first-round and the girls to the FINAL FOUR of the 1A State Tournament. Please join us in showing our appreciation to both teams and to our volunteer coaches on these great accomplishments: James Rooney and Stan Stewart (softball) and Nick Passmore and Tony Varnell (baseball). The Thunderbird softball team goes down 5–0 today to Taylor in the semi-finals of the 1A State Tournament. Way to represent our school district! We are so proud!
The Thunderbird softball team has advanced to the semi-finals of the 1A State Tournament today by shutting out Armorel 3-0. They will play the winner of Taylor and Mammoth Spring tomorrow at 2:30 PM at the Arkadelphia Sports Complex. Go T-birds!

Elementary Reminders: Pre-K graduation ceremony is Thursday, May 12th in the cafeteria @ 5:30 p.m. Kindergarten Graduation is Tuesday, May 17th in the cafeteria @ 6:30 p.m. Our last Fabulous Fun Day Friday is May 20th. Sixth grade graduation is May 23rd @ 6:30 p.m. May 24th we will have a movie and snack day. May 25th is the last day of school! The weather is getting hotter! Please make sure to send a refillable water bottle with your student everyday so that they can stay hydrated!

The Thunderbird softball and baseball teams are headed to the 1A State Tournament later this week! The girls will play Thursday at 10 a.m. against Mt. The Thunderbird baseball team lost in extra innings to Sacred Heart 6-5 to finish fourth in the 1A Region 3 tournament. They will play again later in the week at the 1A State Tournament.
Congratulations to the Thunderbird softball team for winning the 1A Regional 3 championship over Wonderview 6-0. They will be the one seed from Region 3 headed into the state tournament later this week. Go T birds!
There has been a time change for the baseball team on Monday. They will now play at 2:30 PM against Sacred Heart. The girls will play at 2:30, as well, against Wonderview. Both games will be played at Nemo Vista. Go T birds!
The Guy-Perkins baseball team lost 10-1 to MVE at the 1A Region 3 semis and will play Sacred Heart at Noon on Monday in the consolation game at Nemo Vista.
The Thunderbird softball team defeats Mt. Vernon-Enola 7-6 and will play in the 1A Region 3 finals against the winner of Wonderview/Sacred Heart at 2:30 on Monday at Nemo Vista.
