The Arkansas School Boards Association (ASBA) announced that January 2023 is School Board Member Recognition Month in Arkansas. School board members play an essential role in our community. Guy-Perkins will join other districts in Arkansas in celebration of our board by thanking them for the time, talents, and knowledge they bring to our district and for their commitment to the families and children of our community.
"Without our dedicated men and women of the Guy-Perkins School Board, the district could not do the essential work needed to ensure that all staff and students were successful in the classroom. Being a school board member is one of the toughest jobs a person could have and Guy-Perkins is fortunate to have five outstanding individuals that are willing to serve our students and staff, parents, and community."
