Meet Robbie Murry, the new "Thunderbird Route" bus driver. He joins our Transportation team having previously driven in the Greenbrier School District. Most recently, Robbie has been working in the Guy-Perkins as a substitute teacher in both the Pre-K and Elementary School.
When asked why he chose to be in education Robbie says that he was listening to an elementary student read to him one day and his "heart just melted." Robbie added that he would like to help make sure that "all of his bus riders have a great school year this year and have the best opportunity to learn and be successful in life."
Robbie is married to Tammy and has three adult children and five grandchildren. Aside from spending time with his grandsons in the pool, he enjoys watching Razorback sporting events and camping out with his family and friends. Robbie attends the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Greenbrier.
