Guy-Perkins High School has earned recognition from U.S. News and World Report as one of Central Arkansas' top high schools in both national and metro-area rankings. Guy-Perkins was recognized in the 2022 edition of Best High Schools, which included a numerical ranking of most all public high schools nationwide – almost 18,000 of them.

Included in the ranking criteria is the school enrollment, graduation rate, student body demographics, location, school type, results of state assessments, as well as Advanced Placement testing.

"This type of recognition is a tribute to the hard work of both our faculty and staff, as well as our students," states Mr. Tim Barnes, Guy-Perkins High School Principal.  "We work every day at the high school to ensure that all of our students have a guaranteed and viable curriculum, and a successful pathway to graduation and beyond."

Guy-Perkins will celebrate this recognition at the upcoming Senior Graduation on Friday, May 13, 2022.  The ceremony will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the High School gym.
