Guy-Perkins High School was recently awarded an "Innovation Grant" by the Division of Career and Technical Education in the amount of $43,820. These funds will be used to create Thunderbird Farms, a "farm-to-table" program designed to teach high school students work-based learning skills. Thunderbird Farms will be operated and managed by students enrolled in the Agriculture, Business, and Family and Consumer Sciences classes and will include partnerships with farms in the Guy-Perkins community.  Plans include opening a store front in spring 2023 to sell locally-produced items including jellies and jams.
