Guy-Perkins School District recently hired Ashley Pozorski as the new Gifted/Talented Teacher and AP Coordinator for the 2023-24 school year. She joins Guy-Perkins having previously worked in 2nd grade and 5th grade at Springhill Elementary in the Greenbrier School District.
Ashley and her husband, Kent , have a beautiful daughter, Adrianne, who will be going into 7th
grade this year. They enjoy taking care of their animals, which includes 3 dogs (2 are rescues), a fish, frog, hairless rat, leopard gecko, snake, and chinchilla.
This school year, Ashley would like to serve as a resource for her teaching colleagues assisting with the implementation of new math and language arts standards. She also desires to be a "safe place for all her students and their families" while continuing to learn from those around her.
"I’m so honored to have this opportunity and feel that Guy-Perkins is where God is wanting me to be. I look forward to investing into the lives of others while being molded into the leader I desire to be," adds Ashley. Guy-Perkins welcomes Ashley Pozorski to the Thunderbird family!
