Nancy Taylor is the new Kindergarten and Elementary Music Teacher for 2023-24 at Guy-Perkins Elementary School. Nancy has taught Kindergarten and 4th grade in a private school, and worked as an Early Childhood Consultant for Arkansas State University Childhood Services.
Her husband is Dr. David Taylor, Professor of Physical Therapy at the University of Central Arkansas. They have a daughter, Micah, who attends UACCM and a son, Cully, who will be a senior in high school next year.
Nancy enjoys hiking, playing trumpet with her church's instrumentalists group, and traveling to see extended family members. She looks forward to the "close connections" of working in a small community school and getting to know her students and their families.
Nancy's teaching philosophy is "to help students see childhood not as a race, but as an adventure!" We welcome Nancy Taylor to the T-bird family!
